Swiss referendum

Swiss Flag

The swiss referendum will answer to the question about right gap between employee's basic wage and manager's salary, in other terms: could manager get a wage ceiling 12 times more than his employee 's salary?

My opinion:
Depend on the context... in Italy this referendum would be interesting, but the Italians have other problems to solve.

Germany to have minimum wage

Merkel Chancellor

Chacellor Merkel'd accept the Social Democrats measure for creating a coalition government. This kind of measure has two aspects, positive and negative, depends on who looks at:
  • Change of European Policy;
  • German resistance;
Firstly, this opening form part of Chancellor proves a more cooperative German attitude. Secondly, a clear scare of the Germans that this measure would make German exports less attractive. The European countries have noticed a positive signal that it would transform the economic situation.
My Opinion:
The European minimum wage law is an important decision but it would be a necessary target in Southern Europe too, where the economical crisis gets paid by youngers and unemployed. In Italy, the percentage of people that would have a sigh of relief by this decision is about 35%.
If the government approve a minimum salary, a lot of temporary jobs will disappear! This measure has just taken in parliament by M5S. However there are disagrees among politicians about the amount of wage and the financial economics needs.

Body Rental - what is? and why in Italy?

Bodies

If you want to find the job in IT field, you'll crash with this word Body Rental.
This word doesn't exist in the world but that's made in Italy; its mean is difficult and easy in the same time. In fact body rental is a way to move the consultants for programming activities, implementation, analisys of user requirements, etc...
The IT consultans are in the middles way between customer's employees and company's employees...
This way to allocate resources for project produces a lot of problems, especially in this crisis time; here's the problems:
  • the consultant has become an object, not  a person with his needs, problems, etc...;
  • the fee of a consultant is decreasing and so his salary for the gain of the ICT companies... (customers always ask a price lower than before for the consultant services, sò it was born a war among who gives the lower prices).
  • flexible contracts and high taxes produce an increase of this practice.
  • the customer doesn't acknowledge and  he doesn't matter the economic treatment o the job conditions, problems, etc, but only the results, because the programming and other typical activities are considered as commodity, as Electrical energy in our home o the phone line , it's normal and planned.
Results:
Studying Informatics isn't convenient anymore for low salary and a few career perspectives...

Escape Abroad

In this period the escape abroad could be the unique solution for people with a high education.The Italian people with diploma or degree, have same difficulties, the job.
Almost all firms don't invest anymore, neither in training neither in new technologies. The open source technologies is the best choise: Java, PHP, Ajax, JQuery, J2EE and the most important development frameworks... The word Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Web Semantic, Fuzzy Logic, etc aren't considerated because of backwardness of the Software and Consulting companies.
if you look at whatever job ad, you understand that a degree is unuseful in this country.
If you work in Italy, in IT field, you must do programming; in fact the most requests of job is for computer programmer...

For this reason a lot of graduated in Italy are leaving this country for job reason, better work conditions in terms of salary, rights and quality of the life.
Below there is a list of cities where you find a job in IT field (more probable than the other cities);

  • South Italy: Bari, Lecce, Naples.
  • Centre Italy: Rome.
  • North Italy: Milan, Turin and Bologna.

Informatics graduates - Is there future?

In Italy, a lot of young people have understood their country won't guarantee a certain future... first reason, an unexisted work market or a few demands of qualified personal or a big amount of personal with important skills for a salary of less 1500 euro (I'm considering a permanent job).
A lot of young are leaving this our country for other European nations: Switzerland, England, France, Germany and Benelux... (the northern countries with evoluted economies).
This year this migration is increasing, going to Milano, Turin or Bologna isn't a permanent solution, but these cities are only a a bridge to north Europe. This financial and economical crisis is getting down our country, maybe all countries of the South Europe: Spain, Portugal, Greece, Eire, Italy.

Many of my friends think that the situation could get worse, the south Italy is near collapse, only industry of food and small commercial activities work, the others resist because can't do else.
Who can, escape away, looking for something better, a hope or an expectation of better life... far from their birth places... the economists talk of default of Italian debt, a event generated from the bad banks and from the speculative finance on our country for money and easy gain.
Maybe the unique problem is the United Europe, the mode of costruction of this monetary system, in fact it could help the Germans and northern nations and their economies that earn from the "status quo"...
